Named after the catchy, groove-heavy track "Hey Gringo" from KALEO's 2021 album Surface Sounds, this brew is crafted to capture the ultimate summer vibe. But this wasn’t just a vanity project where the band slapped their name on a label.

According to Borg Brugghús brewmaster Árni Theodór Long, the KALEO crew—Jökull Júlíusson, Rubin Pollock, and Davíð Antonsson Crivello—actually showed up at the brewery, rolled up their sleeves, and took an active role in the brewing and creative process.
