Apothic Red, Bandaríkin 3L

The grapes in Apothic come from different regions, most of them from Lodi. The wine is a cocktail of several grapes where Zinfandel is most prominent, blended with Merlot, Syrah and Cabernet Sauvignon. The wine is rich and generous; this blend of grapes has been particularly successful, with diversity reigning supreme. Rich dark berries, blackberries, blackcurrants and black cherries play on the palate along with sweet spice notes, vanilla, mocha and chocolate. Velvety smooth with good body and soft tannins. A wine worth tasting that pairs well with pork, chicken, grilled foal and oriental food, as well as mild cheeses. The wine is also enjoyable to try slightly chilled
