The wine shows itself with a strong dark cherry red color. The nose opens with the most delightful aroma of boysenberries, blackcurrants, and blueberries, quickly transitioning into pepper, crushed stone, toasted bread, and hints of the classic Bordeaux cigar box. On the palate, the wine settles with beautiful fruit and balance. A good tannic bite leads to a long, berry-filled finish interwoven with fine touches of chalky mineral and chocolate.
